Gary Wright

Gary is the Band colour sergeant. He was commissioned a bandsman in 1961 at Derby Temple Corps.

Gary retired as a paramedic in 2003 after 32 years service and was awarded the Queens medal for service to the community. He has since returned to the service as a Patient Transport Manager for the East Midlands Ambulance Service.

Married to Ann (Songster Librarian) for 33 years.

During his banding career Gary has played Bass, Trombone and is currently on Baritone.
