John Jordan
John joined the band in 1972 when he moved from Doncaster to Derby as a member of
the finance function within British Rail.
He is a chartered accountant; semi retired
working currently as a management consultant within the NHS.
He is married to Wendy
and has two boys, one a Director in Angel Trains in London, the other studying medicine
at Manchester University. Occasionally he can be heard on radio Derby giving the
thought for the day. He enjoys Salvation Army banding in all its aspects and is proud
to be a member of the Derby Central Band.
