Ripley leisure centre
Last year the leisure centre in Ripley was being re furbished so the annual carol concert did not go ahead. This year Derby Central band were happy to be part of this annual festival which was held in the new and very posh leisure centre.
Music from the band included “The spirit of Christmas” “Mid winter” “Snow waltz” and “Gaudette.”
Children from Lons local primary school sang some excerpts from their Christmas nativity play.
Mr Faukes enthralled us all with his playing on the biggest keyboard I have ever seen.
We are delighted that this annual event is back on our programme and thanks to Ripley Leisure Centre for the use of the main sports hall.
